Workshido ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, and role (teacher/student) when you register.
- Usage data: worksheets you download, pages you visit, and search queries (anonymously).
- Uploaded content: files and metadata you upload to our platform.
- Marketing consent: whether you opted in to promotional emails, the date, the version of the consent text you agreed to, and where you gave it (signup form, account settings, or a one-time prompt after logging in).
2. How we use your information
- To provide and improve the Workshido service.
- To send account-related emails (confirmation, password reset, download links) — these are necessary to operate your account and are not affected by your marketing preference.
- To send you new worksheets, teacher resources and offers by email, but only if you have given us explicit, informed consent to do so.
- To track download counts and worksheet popularity.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Marketing emails
We only send promotional emails (new worksheets, teacher resources, offers) to users who explicitly opted in — by checking an unmarked box at signup, or by opting in later from Account settings. This is separate from, and not implied by, accepting our Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time from Account settings → Email preferences, or via the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email. Withdrawing consent never affects the account-related emails described above.
4. Data storage
Your account and usage data is stored securely via Supabase (PostgreSQL) on servers in the European Union. Worksheet and PDF files are stored on Cloudflare R2 and served over encrypted connections.
5. Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Your rights
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
- You can export your data by contacting us.
- You have the right to correct inaccurate information.
- You have the right to withdraw marketing consent at any time, as described in Section 3.
7. Third-party services
- Supabase — authentication and database.
- Netlify — static site hosting.
- Cloudflare R2 — worksheet and PDF file storage.
